[Q] Not syncing with google

Defy stopped to sync with google - neither contacts, calendar and gmail are not automatically syncing anymore, only manual. Had already cleared the cache

may be easy but first check in settings>accounts and sync>and make sure your account is actually set to sync

I did the hard reset and that helped, but the one thing I noticed is that my account wasn't set to be synced - before hard reset there weren't any boxes to to tick to sync account or not, now there are green ticks, weird.

I had the same problem , but the mistake was from my side. I brought the POWER CONTROL WIDGET on to the home screen. It had sync icon -ON. i never knew it was the sync icon and actually stopped. I never knew that was the reason. After i switched back on , it works .
