This is just a collection of information, facts, tads & bits about the XT720, which is nothing alike to the Droid Milestone
All this info will eventually go to the Milestone XT720 Wiki here @ XDA.... ( after i'm done playing with this toy )
XT720 Hardware is compatible with all the stock ROM on this list
http://and-developers.com/sbf:xt720
except for the Korean Motoroli XT720, which has extra TV and stuff, which they will officially get froyo, but we (the rest of the world) wont at least according to the official paper https://supportforums.motorola.com/community/manager/softwareupgrades
but it might change, only time will tell.
To flash ROMs you'll need RSD Lite (Multi-Flash / Multi-Flex Tool)
You can download RSD Lite 4.6 from http://www.4shared.com/get/ROgx3qPj...sionid=9E0414385997C01090F28DE121A7C635.dc283
it'll read all ROMs packaged in *.SBF extension
Stock Motonav is safe to uninstall and remove with Titatium Backup (requires root)
A clean formatted phone should have aprox 127MB of internal storage
XT720 can be easily rooted via SuperOneClick

App2card works out of the box, it should be the very first thing to adb install App2Card_2.7.3_3Dec.apk into your XT720

App2Card 2.7.3 (3Dec) Download http://www.mediafire.com/file/z4lebfser2nholi/App2Card_2.7.3_3Dec.apk
You can run App2Card the automatic way (might get troublesome), with just a lick of a button "Install EXT/Transfer apps to EXT" or you can run App2Card the manual way (safe)
Troubleshooting Steps:
This is the simplest method and more user friendly than the old symlink static method via ADB install shell script, as it allows you to control what apps goes in and out, also if you ever take the microSD out of the slot it will not crash/hung your phone. Using the old method of symlink the phone will get stuck when the correct microSD card is not found.
However the static method is more stable, until your microSD gets corrupted
Internal Phone Storage Notes:
Before App2SD script 127 MB free space
After App2SD script 143 MB free space
