Default [Q] adding a 1700MHz antenna to the Streak?

Hi all... apologies if this has been discussed... I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Is there a way to add a 1700MHz antenna to the streak hardware?

I figure since they made a few of the streaks with the 1700MHz antenna, there might be a way?

I also thought I would email the guys who did the tear down of the streak to get their opinion.

Thanks for any help.

Theoretically its possible, but the chances of finding a compatible peice of hardware, combined with building a radio to handle that freq is daunting and likely not worth the effort.

Start searching for an elusive texas beta unit.

Sent my Dell Streak from XDA app.

You running t mobile sim? If so, not possible without custom kernel allowing 1700 antenna addition. Don't be a dork and just get an at&t account if you must use the streak. After all, you are after 3g connection.
