Default ADW/Launcher pro and WIDGETS ISSUE

Hey guys if i install either Launcher pro or ADW home replacements everything seems fine works great.. However when I attemp to add a widget to the screen I can't seem to get that to work. For example if you long press on the desktop and the menu comes up for you to choose the widgets menu... once i click on the widgets menu nothing happens.. No list of widgets ever show up.... Has anyone figured out how to fix this? Therefore I get stuck using the stock Home screen....Help would be appreciated, thanks.

The S7 only allows widgets in the default home launcher. No others will work. I've tried.

If you have the $2.99 paid version of Launcher Pro you can add additional widgets from LP, but not the standard Android widgets. I'm kinda hoping they change this at some point.

Put appwidgetpicker in /system/apps. You'll need root explorer.
