Question [Q] Quality problem power button & battery cover

hi mozart owners!

i got my device almost a week now and i am very satisfied so far.

the one (hardware related) thing i dislike is the power button. it seems to be a little loose. it works without problem, but it makes a little rattling noise. i bought the mozart because of its fine alloy handling. i had enough creaking and rattling with my touch hd! the other buttons like volume or camera are fine.

does any one of you also experience this rattling noise or is this a failure of my very device. in this case i will try to have it exchanged.
the noise happens sometimes when laying the device down or grapping it quickly. i can always reproduce it when sliding over the power button gently from one device edge to the other or when simply tapping on the device somewhere in the top area (e.g. back side near the camera).

regards,
forsti

edit:
just wanted to update this thread. after little more over 2 weeks full usage not only the power button kept stressing me (got worse), but after I had to switch SIM card twice the battery cover now is also messed up. so any time I grab the phone it makes a very nastic plastic noise (blackstone users will know what I am talking about) in addition to the loose button.

to make that clear: I always handled the phone with full care so I refuse that this is anything about false treatment. my mozart is now on its way back to the vendor and I really hope they change it.

but I really wonder that no other user here has any of these issues!?

No such issue with mine. I think you better get it exchanged.

to me it is also not a "big" problem but it simply sucks. every time i switch my device on or off i hear this cheap plastic rattle-sound.

also the battery cover sound is simply not acceptable for a HTC device. I love HTC but I really wished the quality was further improved and will sometime in the future by _really_ on par with the "fruity" products.
