Aha, thanks for the clarification! First time I tried Ubuntu on my HD2 couple of months back, it didn't work in my class 2 microSD. Read somewhere it needs at least class 4 to work. Then again, it might be really outdated info since I haven't been following the Ubuntu build for quite a while.

So how do I get that nice overlay seen on the screenshots or at least some desktop shortcuts? Just got my SD-Card and the taskbar on the desktop and I can't find any solution in the past 10 pages.

This just had to be released while I was on my vacation away from my HD2, didn't it? Can't wait to try it out..will probably release a video soon too.

during startup it says: reboot in 5 seconds...well and then it reboots
Any idea what might be the cause? Radio? sd-card?
Radio version: 2.15.50.14 (works with android)
SD card: 8GB Class 2

I have radio 2.15.50.14 and a 8GB Class 2 sdcard as well, but I was able to boot, though I'm using Energy Rom. But it didn't have the interface from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...3&postcount=33.

You can try backup your stuff, format the card and just put in the linux folder, that's what I did
