[Q] Any chances to crack the bootloader?

What are the chances to crack the bootloader in xperia family? X10 is out for a bit of time now, and still nothing...?! What is the whole process about. Eg. LG gt 540 users can load custom kernels, and OC etc. OC module can be applied in our kernel?

I am very angry when I'm reading about for eg. new cyans for Spica or Gt540... And we still have... nothing. Thanks God for root. :/
