ok, something crossed my mind now.. i put "su" always in /system/bin and im quite sure your "su" is located in /system/xbin now, so thats why my superuser.apk also fails as its made for this version and your su is not. or simply the su in /system/xbin has no suid 0 set.
edit:
ok, i was right. in xbin folder another SU was found, so that one is not compatible with this superuser.apk..
its fixed and im uploading a hopefully perfect 1.0b now.
you da man!
ill give it a try tonight... if i can steal it away from the GF... haha

Dexter,
Thank you for 1.0b. I updated it right overtop your originial 1.0 release without even needing to perform a factory data reset from the recovery menu. Everything appears to be working great. SlingPlayer is even working now and it blows my mind to have the HDMI out going directly into an HDTV and being able to watch FIOS TV from the A7 on a big screen.
I just sent a donation to you! Thank you very much for your effort to support the A7!

Hi Dexter. I followed instructions, did a factory reset before installing your Update.zip 1.0b, everything seems to be fine, I get the "Updated the device: Reboot the device... Reboot now!" message, and then the a7 gets stuck in the elocity splash screen, displaying it again and again..
I was able to sign-in skype although it locked up when I went to make a call. I'll check it out more in a bit.
Any idea why the Sirius XM app just hangs out at initial "Cheking for Upgrades" after the sign-in screen? I see that some other tablets are having similiar issues with the 1.1.0 version from Google Market that was suppose to address Froyo issues.

What could I be doing wrong?
maybe the downloaded zip is corrupted? , but i think you should try another "wipe/factory reset" again after zip update installation?
for a zip verification, you can always copy/extract on pc into a folder, to verify you dont see errors...
but normally its signature errors, because /data is not cleaned, and sig's dont match your old configuration from a previous install, so it loops with the logo screen.
After you select to install the update you need to reboot through the recovery menu and the install continues some more. Then it reboots again, you see some more lines of text and then the elocity boot animation. The first boot takes a little longer than normal, but not five minutes.
Make sure you're doing the first reboot through the menu not with the power button. GL

I had that happen when I upgraded from the stock version (with the update from Elocity) to the first version of this rom. I didn't wipe the cache first. I wiped data but not cache. Hit the reset button on the back of the device. Then, after a second or two press and hold the power button until it says it is entering recovery mode. Wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache and then reapply the update. Sorry, I don't know of another way to get out of the loop without wiping your data.

i tested your Sirius XM app although i got no account, but tried the trial test, and it simply fails due to a framework error, so part of the nvidia framework seems to be incomplete or missing android framework functions, so the function call fails.
you comment on 1.1.0 means that SiriusXM should have gotten a fix? its for sure failing now :(
you mentioned Sling player problems previously, but i simply couldn't locate that one. but sounds like its ok now :)

sounds really strange.. as our Tegra2 tablets has no "verification" process added, you might just have a corrupt zip.. that sounds really like the problem here..
if the wipe does not affect your tablet, it makes no difference rolling back to stock rom, you might just see a regular boot there, which do not tell us why you couldnt update..
