radio keeps swiching off the back on briefly after working fine for months!

If I go in to connection settings it keeps checking then unchecking the airplane mode box. When on home screen signal goes from full to half full then to no signal. WiFi and internet work fine. My memory was almost full yesterday when the problem started, now I have deleted loads and still have the same problem. It's HD2 with frodo 2.2 version 2.10.405.2
Suggestions please, or send me a link to a previous, but relevant, FAQ...This is driving me mad.

Ok, no ideas? Apparently there is a file which is created when you launch Android and it needs about 50mb or something. Maybe when I had low memory space this file was damaged or altered. Does anyone know what this file is called and where I can find it? Just an idea.
