Not sure but I would guess these benchmarks are single threaded at this point. So yeah, the dual core for benchmarks are not going to shine. Same thing with apps. Until they are written as multi threaded applications there won't really be a big difference in performance.

Single core will however, be short lived as a peformance leader. Including these synthetic benchmarks when they re-code them.

It uses both cores. so their score wont improve much by recoding it.
