I actually bought an Otterbox Defender and I'm really impressed with it.

The look and feel is great, it is a little bulky, but not THAT much more than my body glove was.

Best one I got was not a Seidio, Otterbox or Trident... it was the Dual Layer Vertex Covers just google "techie warehouse vertex cover for droid x"

I quote from Techie Warehouse about this product "The Motorola Droid X gets ultimate protection. A Screen Protector and two virtual walls of defense. The inner silicone core absorbs shock from bumps and drops. A hard polycarbonate exterior shell prevents cuts, scrapes, dings, and damage for the Motorola Droid X."

Let me know what you think of it.
Let me just say man, Thank you I found the case you where talking about and it looks amazing I think im Gonna buy it thanks for introducing it to me I was looking for a new case!!!

I bought the otter box defender before I saw the ballistic sg, if I ever need another after this I'm going to try that.

I'm completely happy with my OtterBox Defender. As mentioned, its a little bulky but it offers an amazing amount of protection.

FYI... I found the Naztech Vertex at chargersandcases.com for $13.94. No tax and no S&H. I saw it on another site for $6 but their S&H was $9 so beware of great bargains. I went ahead and ordered the black from the chargersandcases.com. I can give a review when it comes in of you would like.

got the verizon leather hard case (one with the kick stand) my self, and it does add some thickness to the the phone but it slides easily in and out of my pockets (this sounds awkward)

if you want something that won't grip then get something along the lines of one of those invisibleshield things http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/...ns-shields.php

though some don't like the glide (or lack of)
about as thin as you can get

Default Best case out there

I bought the Trident Kraken case, blue for 17.00 on amazon
being the macho man that I am it's perfect for me, big bulky and tough
everyone that sees it has to check it out, heavy as a brick though, so you have to have muscles

Anyone know if there is a significant difference between the vertex and body glove in respect to the bulking around the screen? The silicone case I am using is far too bulky to type effectively.
