I have actually had this bug. Well I haven't ever sent a text message to a wrong person. Sometimes, when i click on the text thread i want to view it will open someone else. But I have always realised this. It happens fairly often, i.e. once every 2 weeks. It must just be the way I use the app.

Secondly, when typing a text sometimes it will jump to the top of the thread, and I have to hold done the menu button to bring the keyboard back and it will jump back down to the input area again. anyone had this problem?

For my birthday, among other things, I got a card from a friend saying "my phone sends weird messages when I am drunk" - can you imagine, how many weird and wrong placed messages she got from me over the past few years without such a bug? And I have a girlfriend...

Glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue. It's never sent to a random person, but opens up a different thread than the one I touched fairly often. Even creates new ones.

Yeah this is definitely a real problem. If you pay attention to what you're doing, it's not that bad. This seems to happen when I have a lot of messages stored on my device. Android has a real big problem dealing with heavy texting.

Thats the only issue I ever noticed, but never miss-texted because I use my eyes and common sense.

I have another problem. Sometimes a message that I try to send gets stored in the outgoing folder, and gets sent automatically when I restart my phone. Anyone encountered this one?

Doesn't your messaging program tell you when the text is sent successfully?
