[Q]Clockwork MOD help (Newbie)

Hi,
I need help by installing clockmod recovery on my lg gt540(android 2.1).I tried with ROM Manager and choose the version off LG Ally, but it didn't work. Could anyne help me thanks.

enter fastboot - CAMERA+POWER
if you saw a black screen with no logos - you fastboot "

you need to write a command for upload recovery

fastboot flash recovery <recovery_name>.img

open recovery - HOME+POWER.

scrolling menu VOLUME UP/VOLUME DOWN, select item SEND CALL, return/cancel END OF CALL.

You need a firmware that has been modified with Fastboot.
This one has Fastboot.

Flash that, then go in to fastboot and flash the clockworkmod img.

Yes, you flash with KDZ and enter fastboot (camera + Power)
You will get a black screen, then connect it to the computer and on the command prompt you Type-> cd C:\(where ever you have your SDK/tools folder) Fastboot flash recovery [your recovery image].img

It should give you 2 OK then do

Fastboot reboot.
After that disconnect your phone, turn it off then when its off push (home+power)
You should get your recovery.

i found the comment but now there comes error cannot run recovery.img(Pic on bottom)

try this :

fastboot flash recovery "C:\andSDK\tools\recovery_clockwork_2.5.0.5_swift.img"

                                              ⇧  your sdk folder on C:\
