[Q] Samsung galaxy tab email

Anyone tried installing the email.apk from the galaxy tab? I havent tried yet but it looks so much better than stock.

This was asked way back when development first started, and-- unless I missed it-- nobody could get it to work (or it worked, but then crashed on fetching mail or something)...

Interesting. Looks like it has been ported over to some (maybe all?) SGS phones. Below is a link to the apk:

After spending some time trying to get this to work both using the viewsonic gtablet version and the sgs ported versions, I realized the only devices successfully running the email app were also running froyo.

Guess we'll have to wait for a full froyo rom... or I guess nookie could possibly run it, although nookie is still far from a good daily.

I tried to get this running unsuccessfully. Its too bad because i use it on my Vibrant and its excellent.

Maybe once we get some 2.2 roms...
