Default USB cables and bricks....

I believe bad USB cables are the reason for many bricks flashing to stock or otherwise. I have used this company for cables for years and they are great and very inexpensive. I don't use a flashing USB cable for more than a few weeks.

at these prices it is well worth the insurance..

I see a lot of this on the forums. I have just used the USB cable I got from purchasing the phone and have never had any problems during flashing.

And before someone says "Oh, they won't fit! You need the special Samsung cable!"....

The Monoprice USB cables need a little trim of the rubber around the MicroUSB plug head. 1 cut with a razor blade is all you'll need. If this thread survives until tonight, I'll post some pictures when I get home.
Are you a developer? Or possibly related to phone development?
No?...then you don't need to make a thread letting the world know you are switching phones. We really don't care.

Yeah I can see where one has to be specific around here. A few are borking their phones using Odin One click.

Actually that was an example of pricing not a the cables I use for the phone. I just ordered a few them for a portable drive ..Gold with ferrite..$1.19 micro same price

I have had no issues with their products

Bottom line is cables are important no matter what anyone uses.

HDMI cables on this site are very reasonable. I wired my walls with their cables when I built my house.

I've blown out one of their audio cables before through daily mobile use so they are breakable.

But I agree they are pretty high quality

Works fine after trimming the bottom a bit.
