If you switch between odexed and deodexed version and want to use your existing data set wipe_dalvik_cache=1
run_fix_permissions=1 (without you can stuck in bootloop)
!!!!Attention!!!!
V5 is an Testversion !use at your own risk! in worst case a complete data corruption could happen! Make an Backup before you start!
The first boot can take much time!!
If you want to use odexed version you have to reflash because the system size is bigger as the partition size from deodexed version!
If you switch between odexed and deodexed version and want to use your existing data set wipe_dalvik_cache=1
run_fix_permissions=1 (without you can stuck in bootloop)

Read the included readme´s for install/config.txt instructions
OC kernel for V3 (up to 1,5Ghz (998mhz standard)): I used the oc code from Rafpigna´s 1.7 kernel
to install extract the package and copy zImage, initrd.gz and all *.ko files into /sdcard/data/update/ and reboot to install kernel
Reboot again to boot with the new installed kernel
(OC can cause hardware damages! Use at your own risk) http://rapidshare.com/files/44809331...l_wifi_fix.rar
The first 2 screenshots are data on phone with a few apps installed
In the second 2 screenshots the data is copied into an 1gb data.img on starage card
nice1 but can we have some screenshots in setting/memory???thanks
I can post screenshots tomorrow...
with deactivated data.img this rom is complete stock except the changed kernel which is about 2mb bigger (2mb less data storage in phone as original build)
with activated data.img the free storage size depends on your settings in the config.txt
Amazing!!!
Flushed my hd2 with no problems. Set the conf file to 1024mb. Now my OS shows my internal memory as 1000mb. On the first boot had to wait for about 5 min. Installed tons of apps....
Hi bauner!
I am currently using the stock desire rom by Cotulla with prj's kernel and all is working very good (apart from the little 1-2 seconds lag when turning on the screen from standby or during call). Also battery drain is good.
As I am thnking of trying your mod, can you tell me how's the battery drainage and the overall performance when using data.img on sd compared with the "normal" stock rom by Cotulla?
Thanks a lot!

the battery drain on standby is 3-4ma with data on phone and 3-6ma with 1gb data.img on an 16gb sandisc ultra micro sdhc
