Default [Q] Review of current roms?

Just curious, I've been scouring the various threads and just figured I would post a separate thread to try and figure this out...

has anyone

1)side-by-side compared Vipers current EXT4 rom (released 1/5) vs Mammons current rom on EXT4 released 1/3) and performance gauged it ? Thoughts ?
2) If so, did you move any cache or programs to the SD card, and did you notice any increases?
3) are you using a class 6 microsd card or better ?
4) journaling - was it off or on, and did it make any difference performance wise?
5) is wifi tether working on either of them?

Thanks in advance for your help)

I'm curious on some direct comparisons as well between these ROM's, but also toss in Nebula ROM. I'd love nothing more than to be able to flash all of them and do my own benchmarking, but lack of time + my Epic is my only point of contact and i need to be reachable by my job 24/7 prevents me from getting too crazy with this stuff

Mammons 1.1.3 w/ext 4 is sweet. Coming from a stock Dk28 rom and this is amazing! No comparisons to other EXT4 roms though. Also, wireless tether 2.0.5 seems to work. A little flaky at times to connect but nothing a restart wont fix. After connecting it seems fine. Havent tried the new tether 2.0.6 released today yet.

I have tried both of these. Both are great ROM's. I am currently on Mammon's for personal preference. I have had no stability issues what so ever.

-I am still on RFS, so I cannot comment on the ext4 stuff.
-I have the stock SD card.
-No programs on SD card unless it does it automatically.
-Wifi tether works amazing, I use barnacle free though. the android-wifi-tether was too flaky for me. barnacle allows me to work off the wifi connection for a long time ( I have tested up to 5 hrs without problem, haven't had time to test longer)

I don't have performance programs to test. From real world perspective, Mammon's seem slightly more stable to me. And what I mean by that is, it feels snappy all the time. Sometimes with Viper, when I would go to make a phone call, I would get a tiny bit of lag etc. I don't know if it was me or the actual rom. I wouldn't take anything away from Viper though, it is a really nice rom.

All I know is, with either Viper or Mammon, my phone was running far better than it ever was at stock or any 2.1 rom, and it had more features! These guys make high quality, feature rich roms. They should be working for google or samsung or something.
