[Q] Launcher Pro expire and screen goes blank...

Hi.. im new here and i need help.. I'm on Froyo 2.2 Rombie Rom and my launcher pro expired ..Making my screen go blank and launcher pro kept promting me to upgrade to the 8.02 version(if im not wrong) ..Im thinking of installing Darky's ROM V8.0 ..IS IT POSSIBLE ?..Need advice urgently ..

I don't think the new versions of Launcher Pro expire, must be an old beta or something that you have. Why don't you simply upgrade / install the latest version?

BTW, the license is worth paying for - you need to pay via PayPal though not Market.

install this through cwm recovery
choose install zip from sdcard
Launcher Pro DocMod 0.8.2

edit: thanks, worked on my dell streak apart from the applications button turning black. Moving to ADW launcher instead.

a coworker of mine had the same issue today. I'm just reposting the link from another website, since I typically come to xda to find answers to stuff like this... either manually type this into your ANDROID browser, or if you could somehow make it to this page from your phone, just click this link... from your phone lol

You're missing the part where phones in airplane mode can not get on thew internet and there is no way to get to settings to turn on wifi or data.

Anyway.... He's trying the linked DocMod file...

hey guys, this is my first post and i need help urgently.

the launcher expired and i installed the rom through recovery and i have no backup.
Myphone:HTC Legend.

it only shows me the notification bar and that's it.

please help.
