Smile Yet Another USB Keyboard!

Just received a Fellowes Folding Keyboard from eBay. Only paid $16.99! In any case, for anyone who owned a Palm Pilot back in the day, you'll remember this cool keyboard design. It is basically in four sections that fold up like an accordion when stored. Just search for one on eBay or Amazon to see a picture.

Not only is it plug and play on Vegan 5.1, but the Windows button works as a Menu key, Home = Home page, and End = Sleep mode. As much as I like the Thumb Keyboard app, nothing beats a real, full-sized keyboard when you need to write a long email. Some of the small Bluetooth keyboards others have mentioned don't seem like they would be much better than Thumb Keyboard.

With this new keyboard, the laptop is likely to be in hibernation that much more!

ebay search for "Fellowes Folding Keyboard" didn't bring up anything, the cheapest real folding ones like you described is selling on ebay for more than twice as much.

The Guy I bought from on eBay apparently doesn't have anymore, or at least doesn't have a current listing. Here is a link on Amazon for the same item for a few bucks more:

I looked at those flexible keyboards too, but I wonder how well you can type on them. The good thing about the Fellowes keyboard is that it is full sized with a decent "touch". I assume that the flexible ones don't have any key travel to speak of, so they could be either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.
