I seen it but I had nothing to say since well, I haven't seen anything regarding this lol, any one have info?

Could just be one of those random updates they push out to break root.

Not trying to threadjack but peeking into the regular MyTouch 3G forums the announcement has been made for the update on the 3.5mm and Fender. They say it should be done by the 1st of Feb so we should be just after that one would assume.

They can't get wifi to work and the partition that the update is installed on is too small, no release date given because of these two problems.

Wow ... that link had a lot of negative comments about the Slide. Lot's of hate and animosity in the Android community! I don't get it ... my Slide is super smooth and now that I'm finally getting consistent 4mbps data speeds from TMO's network I am 99% satisfied with it. I can wait until upgrade time for a dual core phone.

It amazes me when I consider the CM team's capacity for production and consistent and reliable development and the lack of such behavior from an international device manufacturer and a major US mobile service provider ... At any rate, it'll be interesting to see what the developers can do with the update because I will not be using a Sense based ROM in the foreseeable future.

Seems like it's about ready. Assuming the Rom with the new Radio is complete and has the 2 issues fixed we should see it after the 3.5/Fenders are done. Maybe 1 Feb or so,
