Default Heimdall for the Galaxy 3?
I just read that someone modified Heimdall so that it can flash the Galaxy Tab, so I guess it should be possible to use it for the SG3 aswell. Down't want to install Windows for just flashing my Android phone..

Sorry that's incorrect. I'm the creator of Heimdall and I myself added support for the Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab is a part of the Galaxy S series and hence uses the same flashing protocol, the Galaxy 3 does not.

Thanks for the correction! So Galaxy 3 users still don't have a Linux tool for flashing :/
