[Q] Will Cliq 2 rom work on the Defy?

I'm a noob so mayhaps I don't know what I'm talking about but here goes. On the 19th of this month T-Mobile(US) will start selling the Moto Cliq 2. This new device will be running Froyo and a lighter version of blur. To my untrained eyes that only difference between the Cliq 2 and the Defy, hardware wise, are the Cliq 2 is running at 1Ghz instead of 800Mhz and it has a slide out keyboard instead of the hard body the Defy has.

So then my question is that if indeed internaly the Cliq 2 and Defy are the same how difficult would it be to port the cliq 2 rom over to the defy and thereby giving us a clean and stable Froyo?

you couldnt just set it to install and it would work but it could probably be forted since both roms will be motorola signed and probably have similar kernels and drivers
