Default preferred rom?

I see the bonsai and the viper are the 2 most common ones? (I based it off the replies to the threads lol)

just a new rooter looking for a good rom.

anyone have any advantages over another?

one thing I'd like is speed, battery life and a gps fix. obviously stable is good too

thanks!

oh, and ease of install is a big plus too

i just loaded up clockwork now.

Is there any way to put up like a warning screen that only DEVELOPERS should be posting new threads in the development forum? Like when you click new topic something pops up and makes you do something annoying that forces the user to actually read that their inane question does not belong in the development section?

well I was directed here for root related questions so...

you realize it's probably setup like this, because it wasn't intended for developers to post new threads only right?

NO you are WRONG! Seriously this is getting old! Read the forum rules before you post! Post in the GENERAL section!

Mods please get rid of this!

so where should I post my root questions? in general?

I understand I shouldn't start threads here, so a place to ask my questions would be nice. I was told general is not for root questions

thanks

Unlike android central, root questions go in general here.
