You will have to do it manually. Superoneclick uses the rage exploit to gain shell root in terminal by copying the files to data/temp/ and executing them. We use this same shell root exploit to delete a few apk's first to make room for the su binary and Superuser.apk. I added a section to the sapphire hacking wiki on this, follow the directions there to get them installed.
On Fender I needed to run Superoneclick after doing all this, not sure why. Once the files were in place and ran it, I had root.
