this key isn't visible/available on my 7 Mozart. has anyone using an HTC device found the registry key that controls the Lockscreen time out? thanks.

You misunderstood. I have an HD7 and like all hd7 users there is the pink camera bug where when the flash is used, there is a pink HUE.. AKA white balance is not set properly.

I was wondering if there was a hack/ registry fix for this.

I dont suppose we'd be lucky enough to have the htc surround use the same camera as the hd7? Might be possible to implement that driver.

HTC Surround Backlight Option: Never
I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about, but in my Settings, under lock & wallpaper, my options for Screen time-out are 30 seconds, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min, and never.
i don't recall this being an option until I recently installed the regedit and began editing. I don't think I've done anything to change this in the registry either. If someone else with a Surround could verify these options, then maybe we can figure out where HTC hides this registry entry, and help out.
