Dammit, looks like i messed up!

I was running ICS build 6.5 wanted to update my modem to a new version to see if the connection is any better, and um this is the whole Verizon bull**** again?!?? Do people seriously still want this? ICS is sooo much better!

Anyway now im back to square one i dont even have root!

I backed up before i did this but my glitch recovery is gone and i have no options to restore my phone!


what do i do now?

odin back to stock and start over.

Yes actually.. Free Mediafire users can only upload 200MB. And this unrar'd file is 309MB... whoop de do.. :P

I tried .zip, but the file was about 203 MB. rar got it down to 186MB. And I'd use .7z, but they do not yet support Linux. All they have is a .7z extracter.

yea im seeing this. my phone is 2.1 update 1 which is what it was running early last year lol.

whats the new modem to go with now a days?

I would actually say the best modem is EC09 (also Gingerbread)

well I haven't used that modem, so I can't really argue with you. but I've always used eh03 and it works fine for me

this is what i thought i was getting here. last time i changed modems on odin is just changed the modem not the rom/kernel. now im stock 2.1update1 and i hate it

I got to go and root again and install CWM so i can restore my ICS 6.5 build
