[Q] Cant flash 'data' on phone with fastboot?

hi all

I cant flash data via fastboot?
this is how i flash a rom with fastboot
fastboot -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot erase data
fastboot flash data data.img

usually all succesful, no errors, it started since 2.2 i think, or possible pashinator released under development, which needs work, but good. all the rest go alright and data just says no, also, not sure if its a worry, but fastboot devices shows my phone as a '?' just me or anyone else?

my laptop made this too ( messed with drivers and etc. but no success), then tryed to flash with my desktop pc and it worked

(just try to flash with other pc)

try from recovery????

I can confirm that my rom does not affect fastboot. And to save typing just call it pashinator rom

ok to clear things up, i wasnt blaming roms, i explained my rom history, all the roms ive used are great.

i will try the desktop idea, let you know if that works,

i can not get recovery, i flashed various .imgs in recovery and none have booted with home + power or camer + power, got no idea why either but its not that big of a problem

so you say that you cannot flash data- what is error?

for me... there was no error... it just hangs
