I have 500 dollars spare and I am thinking about buying the nexus s for having a rich perspective on good developing in android and the best up to dates. Is it worth it? your thoughts

if you already have the Captivate, why switch to SNS?
The SGS is a good phone, there are plenty of development on the SGS
you do know the Captivate have the siblings Vibrant, I9000 and of course the Nexus S itself
most of the developments are cross models compatible, the ROMs needs some tweaking, but that's the fun of it.
