Ok, let's try to explain, i'm not a Dev, but:
Every time you flash do you do a full clean install, this is not always needed but it's advisable.
Once you've installed everything you have to let you battery discharge until it gets lower 20% or near and then fully charge it, after that you have to do a battery stats reset, or else you may have the battery below 25% resets which is a pain in the ass, rsrsrs.
About programs running, if you let multiple programs running in the background your phone will obviously waste more battery, so once you don't need them anymore you can kill them by holding the right key for about 2s(if you have configured this on the Settings > Applications > Development > "Stop App via long-press".
Also another thing that makes a lot of difference but you can't control is that if your phone signal is normally weak your phone will waste more battery, if you get your phone without signal it will waste almost double battery(or something like that, not sure on the amount, but i've seen this a lot in older phones, so i guess would happen the same).
Apps that run services on the background also eat battery so maybe your apps work on the background.
High brightness on the screen wastes tons of battery.

I've been this last version almost 2 days now, rom J020c K010, the last charge was about 17 hours ago and i used about 8hours with bluetooth on streaming music to the bluetooth headset, the bluetooth is still on and yet i have 63% and no battery issues.
But i barely used phone call today less than 30min.
In Wireless config i have this now:
Wifi Off, Bluetooth On, inside Mobile network: Data enabled Off, International... Off, National... Off, Use only 2G... Off
Outside that:
GPS Off
Wifi Off mostly
Brightness is set to near 30%.
I'ven't used google sync yet, so i believe that once it's configured it may use a bit of battery as it will keep trying to sync on the background, but i believe there is a way to set it not to, don't remember where though.

Backup you rom, follow step by step instructions also check if there are any reboots once you have installed the rom, if you have screen off reboots use the screen off fix, if you have battery below 25% use xrecovery battery stats reset once you have fully charged your battery.

Yeah it ready enough for daily usage, unless you need camera or camcorder, those are not working at all at least for me, i'm able to launch them but no photos or records can be made the app locks up once i try.



If the phone keeps stable as it was today, tomorrow night i'm gonna start the other apps trials and maybe i can report something, saushaushau

+1 xperiax10mods, the same in my X10.

Before with J11 rom, 3 days, always 2G, whatsapp, etc.. today J20c very fast, but battery was down 4% per hour, in fly mode.

Maybe is a kernel problem, fps uncap, next K11 will be better or not...

Thanks for doing the test reports on the screen sleep/re-boot issue, maybe now we have a logcat the situation will become clearer.

Test:

Installed 20c yesterday.
- Cleared Cache, etc.
- BB 52

During the day it worked without problems.
During the evening and night constant reboots. Until the battery was empty.

unintall GenieNewsWidget...
Media ReScan DISABLED
switch to 2g network when u have patchy 3g coverage...
switch off wifi/gps/bt for most of the time...
no other sync than GMAIL & XDA (no FB/Twitter sync)
increase syncing gap (sync less frequently) in other apps
use battery monitoring & cpu monitoring apps to find out which app is causing max battery drain
keep brightness at 25%-40%

thats exactly what i did on my pc and its not working for me. after stop zygote it doesnt start again when issuing start zygote. the phone just hangs and stays like that until i adb reboot or pull the battery.
