[Q] Videotron Quebec Phone?

Hello,

I messed my phone up with app2card.

I backed stuff up with the app onto my sd. But I could not get it to boot past the Motorola logo.

I should have waited, but I flashed with a US rom.

The problem is, it is lower than the original. Everything works of course, except my SIM is not recognized.

I could try to unlock it I guess, but I was wondering/hoping if anyone here has the rom, or could tell me which one would work / custom rom etc.

Any other suggestions are welcome. I will root again and see if I can restore the backups I have, but I don't think it's the same thing as the ROM.

Can someone let me know if I can flash with a Milestone rom without issues?

you will have to flash the :and-developers.com/sbf:xt720 roms.

I have an Ontario WindMobile AWS XT720, I flashed with the US BrightPoint STR_U2_04.1E.1, everything works out of the box, except you have to manually key in the APNS record. It is easy, go into setting > network > APNs, write down the videotron settings.

Well the problem is my phone does not read my sim card. The Rom that is in my phone stock is STR_U2_05.1F.1

It's on a sticker under the battery. I tried to use a Milestone ROM since those are higher version numbers but it still does not read.

I'm going to try my wife's SIM, she has a Nexus 1 with Videotron.
