[Q] ADB Just Will Not Work

*RC29
*Amon Recovery 1.7
*DREAM PVT 32B ENG S-OFF
*HBOOT-1.33.2005
*CPLD-4
*RADIO-2.22.19.26I

I have tried to setup ADB, on different PCs at no avail. Followed this thread:

Issue is none of my PCs detect my phone. I have checked on "unknown sources" under the applications, and "USB debugging" under development.

after reading this: Q: How do I know the phone is bricked?
A: You can not brick a phone unless you are flashing Radio/SPL packages. Make sure if you are doing that, you follow directions VERY CAREFULLY. A bricked phone can not boot into bootloader, recovery, or into normal operation modes. You can not connect to a bricked phone via adb or fastboot. could this be the case for me?

I'm trying to update my Radio and SPL from a .img but thread said you need fastboot, which entitles ADB, right?? and of course the whole purpose of this it to install ezterry's ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=811620

P.S. Can you tell I'm a newbie....
