Can other Galaxy S source codes be used for better development for the Epic?

yes they can to a point. The epic is far different then any of the other galaxy s phones. Were the only one with a keyboard and wimax. The u.s. variant with ffc. Where also cdma instead of gsm.

The reason I bring this up is because the Fascinate's source code for Froyo has been released for Telus. http://www.androidcentral.com/samsun...ource-released

I just saw this and figured I'd bring this up hoping it helps

Well without are source there ain't much we can do with this. There's to many differences

Gotcha thanks for clearing this question up for me. BTW I'm still interested in creating my own themes. Any tips?

Read the guides from dreamsforgotten. Theres another well written guide on the internet floating around. I can't post any links from my phone.

Personally I didn't read any of the guides and I learned from trial and error before I knew of the guides. Do what I did and start with combining themes images to get a look you wasn't then worrie about editing xmls.
