For those looking to get WP7 on the HTC HD2, I've assembled one of my tutorial videos for it

All hail WP7 on the HTC HD2! So glad I bought this instead of the TG01 or Nexus One

Nice bro. Good work. One thing people really need to know is that WP7 will format your SD card.. Everyone keep this in mind and dont lose your files!

I see that's a EURO HD2, i thought the readme said only 1024 TMOUS versions work?

Btw one question, if you want to revert back to Android, is it the same process of getting a NAND rom and installing the .exe again?

No. First off, the HTC HD2 is the only device capable of running WP7 (Capacitive touch, 1ghz QSD, etc). Second off, this ROM is designed for the HD2, so I'd assume it would brick your Touch Pro 2, even if you could manage to make it flash. Sorry.

I assume so... the readme says you can flash back to Windows Mobile, so worst comes to worst, flash to Windows Mobile and then back to MAGLDR. But you should be able to just flash Android NAND.

And yes, it is a European HD2 (not sure what carrier). Everything is working fine, and if I recall, the T-Mobile US version will be forced to 512 if you flash this. Read that in the readme I believe, or maybe I'm confusing something. Either way, it works great on my European HD2.

This will replace *everything* on your device, including your SD card contents, so I'd back up your important files and take that SD card out before trying it.

Ok, but there's no way i can backup my android installation. So when i reinstall android i don't have to reconfigure android.

I've never used Android NAND, but I would have to assume your Android configuration will be lost, unless there's an application that will back it up and store it somewhere for reuse.
