Infrared?

Somebody knows if the Folio has an infrared led onboard?
I see a purple-transparent square just right under the power on button, on the frontal, typical of IR masks.

I don't think so. It works with a remote, but only when connected to the dock.

Yes, there is a ir eye below the power button. Its for the remote included in the tvkit. It SURE works even when disconnected from the dock

the instruction manual by toshiba says "In/Out infrared module" so I think it can be used both ways . Any programmer willing to try it ? :PPP
