There are yet no methods for 2.3 rooting because the only device with 2.3 on the market right now is Nexus S which can be "rooted" using oem unlock command.

i guess im the only one who likes Mediascape, .. i just need to know if someone have a working mediascape widget.

I just recieved my Arc, tried zRoot and SuperOneclick, nothing able to root it.
Tested speed, Q total: 1663, CPU over 2000. This is great, flash works great, HD PLAYER is excellent, demo HD video play so smoothly on both phone and DEMO TV.

So far, I don't see need of root.
