Default [How To] Flash SBF Milestone 2 RETAIL BRAZIL

SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

This tutorial made by me!

First of all, the ROM Retail BR is available for download a file. "sbf". It is like a picture of the Android system, in this case, a clean image without any operator customization. The Motoblur continue, but the icons/menus/bootanimation carrier will leave, leaving your device "clean" as possible.

*** IMPORTANT ***

Make every procedure at your own risk. Doing it wrong can brick (damage) your phone and turn it into a very stylish paper weight. I´m not responsible for possible damage.

PROGRAMMES REQUIRED

Motorola-Drives

RSD-Lite 4.9

2.2 SBF BRAZIL - FIX

FOOTSTEPS

1- Install Drivers and RSD;

2- Extract the zip file;

3- In its Milestone 2, Go to Settings menu -> Applications -> Development -> Enable USB Debugging;

4- Connect your phone to your computer using the USB data cable;

5- Wait for Windows to find your device and install all drivers. Next, open up RSD Lite and wait until the A953 to appear in the table;

6- In RSD Lite, select the file that you downloaded the SBF and extracted the text box and click the Start button;

The whole process didn´t takes less than 10 minutes and the phone will reboot a few times. The RSD Lite will ask eventually connect to the phone manually. NOT DO THIS. Be patient and wait until it is written "Finished and PASS" on the table RSD Lite.

Tips

1- Make the whole process with the battery above 80% for no risk.

2- Restore factory the device BEFORE and AFTER flashing is HIGHLY recommended.

3- Once the new clean ROM, access the Android Market and update all applications available.

Surely the process itself will work for any milestone 2 device anywhere in the world so long as you have the correct sbf for your phone?

So this should work for a german vodaphone M2 if you used the german vodaphone sbf. Try and confirm it before hand though!

Sent from my MotoA953 using XDA App

Yeps. I have this bug too. Nothing to worry about

For everybody else looking for SBF files for different countries, check the available list here.
