[Q] Running epic experience, screen has red colors??

Hey guys. My samsung epic 4g has some problems. When I load a custom rom ontoit, and open my keyboard, I see slight red colors over the screen.. and the colors don't look normal. This also happens when I turn on my phone. On top of that, update.zip doesn't work. . It gives me a sprint error. I'm running 2.2.1.

Use odin to get 2 stock and then if it still persists then it is mostly a hardware problem so u have to take it to the sprint store

Ive had this phone for over 30 days. Will they still replace it? And alright will do. Its never done this before.

Another problem, I can't flash with odin on ANY computer because this stupid phone doesn't get detected by anything in download mode. Is there a way I can go back to factory settings by dragging+dropping a .zip file?

They will either give u a refurbrished epic or fix it at the store since it over 30 days old. And idk if it will cost u any cash

Well if you have the insurance they will just give you another one (refurb)free of charge. If you don't have insurance you just have to pay 35 dollars to get another one. They use your manufacturers one year warranty for your phone. Good luck

Is there a way I could trade it in for the evo? Its worth like the same amount.. was 50 bucks more than the evo. Id rather get a refurbed evo. Also, follow up qustion. I pay over 200 a month for famiyl lines.. am I sprint gold? Like, am I elegibile for 1 year upgrades for 1line?

You might be able to get them to do an "advanced exchange" to get an evo, but I think you usually have to have the original phone replaced at least once before they'll switch you to a different phone.
