Do we still use the gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip if we decide to do a clean flashing of 7.2? And has anyone had issues flashing this over 7.1? Thanks.

I don't have a problem at all. Was able to get 7.2 RC1 from get.cm and flash it over my existing. I did whip dalvik/cache beforehand...

Just flashed 7.2-RC1 over 7.1 stable without any issues. Very minimal list of changes on the change log page, but nonetheless it's finally an update to CM. Was really hoping for CM9 to be here by now, but it'll be worth it when it's here.

UPDATE: Wanted to see if it was worth doing a wipe & then clean install, and not only did that go without a hitch my G2 seems to be a little snappier now. Flashing it cleanly or over 7.1 was flawless, and I'm a very happy camper.

Anyone know why 7.2 (or the nightlies for that matter) aren't showing up in RM?

Successfully flashed 7.2-RC1over 7.1 with cache and dalvik wipe. No issues whatsoever thus far. Loving the ICS transition animations.

Be aware that you don't have to generate a lot of traffic before Dropbox will disable your public links. Which isn't a big deal (they don't disable your whole account), just that this link might not work for long.
