Question [Q] Galaxy I5801 with 2.2 froyo root

I just got froyo on my phone my reflashing. But the thing is how to root? When I tried to root with the uptade.zip with it, it just says "can't mount dev/blk/mmcblk0"
How much ever i try it doesn't root. I tried z4root & Superoneclick.

As far as I know z4root does not work for 2.2. You have to you the OneClick one.

Try the rooting by first switch off fone and connect to PC ..run superone click ..press root and when it is waiting for the device switch on..and it will be rooted. It worked for me
