You need to install SpareParts from the market and uncheck "Compatibility Mode" as mentioned in the 2nd post.

hi pongster..my 1st time posted here

been trying couples of gingerbread rom in last few days..yours..ROCK

battery drainage about 3 to 5ma..unplug phone at 3am full charge with 3g and data on plus auto sync with 4 accounts..at 11am battery still got about 93%..pretty much good for me

gps..quick fix..tested about 1 hour plus without disconnet using papago x5

the only problem..the hard key blinking keep coming back even after fake call..(especially after i change led density)

no headphone icon when plug in..not a big problem though

totally 1 happy user..thanks

Well, this sucks. . . Since I am on the exe version and don't have clock work installed. . . .

Any other way to get the mms.apk back in without a full flash?

Also if there is no way, can you upload a exe version so I don't have to use clock work?

CWM is the only way this can be done properly afaik.

Try using Root Explorer, but do this:
  1. End all apps using a Task Manager (especially Mms.apk)
  2. Delete the current Mms.apk using Root Explorer
  3. Drag and Drop the attached Mms.apk to system/app
  4. Change Permissions of new Mms.apk to match those in the /system/app directory rw-r-r if I remember right.
  5. Reboot.

You flashed the DFT version right? using the flash, cfg included by default in the build? Then your partitions are CWM ready.

Just go to the CWM main thread and download the initrd.gz and zImage and put in the root of your sdcard.

Reboot and in MAGLDR select Boot AD SD.
You're in CWM.
