I've moved some apps to sd-card. That's great but what if I'd like to change my sdcard? Firstly, should I turn the phone off to eject the card?
Secondly (mainly), is there a way to copy ext2 partition to a new sdcard? Or is it the best way to backup all linked apps with Titanium and then restore them one after another and link manually again?

When does the mount should happen? When t the phone is rebooted or when the app is started?

Dear bakpinar,

I've successfully enabled link2sd 1.0.6 @ my Moto XT701, thanks for your great work.
About problem which linked app will not show in Market, I've found AppBrain App can see all app include "linked app".
Perhaps this can be temp solution for application update issue for now.

When the phone is rebooted (at boot time).

For some reason this is not happening with my ZTE v9 (optus version) & there is no request form link2sd for root access.

The interesting thing is that before going to the force close message link2sd founds the sext2 mount. And the root explorer finds data\sext2 with 1.95gb

Hi
I am trying to use link2sd on Optimus One.
I have ext2 partition not found message. It does not ask for su.
I created /data/sdext2 folder and after I mount my ext2 with this command
# mount -t ext2 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /data/sdext2
After that, Link2sd detect my ext2 partition but I have to mount it after every reboot. Maybe this will help you to extend rom support.

Thank you for your great work.

Mounting at boot time is not performed by Link2SD, Android OS itself mounts on boot. Link2SD just creates the auotmount script.

If you see "ext2 mount found" message at application startup this looks like a different problem than mount.

Can you look at logcat logs with any logcat viewer application and check if any Link2SD tagged line related the force close error exists?
