Auto mount script for ext2 may not be executed on boot time.
Can you check "/data/sdext2" directory right after restarting your phone. (without launcing Link2SD)

i believe that if i check the data/sdext2 partition before i open link2sd it shows no files in the folder, but once i run link2sd it shows them in the folder. is there a fix for that? how can i adjust the script to make it mount at boot?

I fixed it, seems the install-recovery.sh file is no longer run at boot in cyanogenmod, so i created a 99complete file in init.d and moved the script there. works perfectly now thanks for the wonderful app

I think you don't need it.
If I had a Galaxy S I wouldn't develop this app

It's time to tell about the first impressions:
App is working good
Widgets must be removed from home screens and re-added, then they are working as expected
Problem: the Market-App doesn't see applications tgat have been moved to sdcard. You won't get an update notification
It would be nice if updated system apps like google maps could be moved to the sdcard

Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
Market's behavior is strange, because linked applications look normal everywhere in the system after restart. I'll check to find out if there is something I can do on this issue.

I think it may be dangerous to give ability to move system applications in Link2SD. I would suggest move system app apk file to /data/app directory first with Root Explorer and then link with Link2SD.

Default not perfect on my xperia x10...

Hi
Thanks for the app... however it doesn't work 100% right on my xperia x10 2.1 rooted... I did everything like you said (partitions, install link2sd...)
After sucessfull instalation i tried ,link some apps to the sdcard... however some apps doesn't work... and force close. For instance:

- Angry birds: the only app that did well;

- AppRemover: Force Close;
- Opera Mobile: Closed;
- Tango VideoCall: Force Call;
- Dropbox: Force Close;
- Xda: Force Close...

And some other apps i could enter in the app but if it needs internet connection, the app couldn't get in the network...

any help?!

This app would solve my problems with storage, because unfortunally SonyEricsson wouldn't bring Froyo to Xperia X10...

Broken Android permissions may cause force closes.
Can you try to re-install one of the applications which has force close problem, and then if it works create link again with Link2SD.

There are some details about this issue in this link.
