BRILLIANTLY done!!!

Works perfectly on my X10 mini with Éclair *latest update*. Because of your app, I now got back to 60MB free memory, with no more laggings like when I had only 2MB of free memory.

Noticed something real smart too that your app makes possible: whenever the market locates an update, I copy the app back to internal memory, update it, then re-link it. Simple as that! Genius work!

I have an improved sony ericsson thanks to you!!!
Have a very nice day, week and so on!!!

(Also: your advice on a partition manager was SPOT ON. I`ve connected it via USB, then had a tap on the "mount card to be able to copy/paste files with the computer", opened the Minitool, resized the card, created a 1GB partition with the ext2 specs, set apply and it was done. After that just ejected, then on the phone and then unplugged the cable from the computer, and it was done!)

Nice job!!!

do you mean the market can detect installed apps without moving the apps back to internal memory first? that would be great then! will download the latest version when i get back home then

thanks Bakpinar for this!

DONATE TO ME
This app is really great!

I use it on my Xperia X10 (2.1). If anyone has trouble, let me say a couple of things:

1. If you have an application already installed and used, and decide to use Link2SD to move it to your SD, it probably will not work, as in it will force-close after a few seconds of opening, it will not function properly (VidTrim for example, could not save trimmed videos) or not open at all. BUT if you install an application and DON'T OPEN IT, but immediately use Link2SD, move it to your SD and reboot, it will work perfectly fine!

2. For missing Market links, Titanium Backup restores them perfectly! ***

So, thank you very much for this application, now I can have all the games I want without worrying about space!
I made a thread about it on the X10 forums, I hope you don't mind!

*** I have a question about Market updates: if I update an app on my SD through Market, will the new apk be placed where it was before, or it will be moved back to internal memory? Haven't had a chance to try that as of now.

Bapkinar i think the way to solve the issue of some roms not mounting the ext2 partition with your script is to change your script from an sh file to just simply a empty file. just remove the .sh and it will run at boot as long as it is in the init.d folder. I saw u moved it there but u left it as a sh script. just take that off and it works. i have tested on my droid since day one by making my own script.

I installed version 1.04 and linked several apps. Everything is OK (thanks Bapkinar). As I understand with version 1.05 Market can detect installed apps on SD and if they need to be updated or not. True ?
If so what should I do to upgrade safely ? Unlink apps -> uninstall 1.04 -> install 1.05 -> relink apps ? Or simply install 1.05 ?
Thanks a keep up the good work.

I ve installed v1.05 in my zte v9, but when i launch it I get a FC (process com.buak.link2sd) after the message of ext2 mount found.
Other people used v1.04 without problems in the zte v9. Where ca i get v1.04 to try ?
thanks,

srmoure

PS: In my superuser allowed apps only appeard titanium backup. When i installed link2sd it didn t request root access. Is this correct ?
