Default Odin wont recognize phone

My phone goes into download mode without doing anything. It can be plugged into the charger and it would go into dowonload mode, just the power button puts it into download mode too. I'm trying to flash it back to stock but odin would not recognize the phone. I downloaded and installed the driver for my phone and it is not working. Help?

Maybe there's something that's blocking your volume keys.. Keep pressing and letting go of the volume keys till they feel better and then press the power to power on.. try it

Default Drivers

Where did you get your drivers from?
If you got them from the samsung website, then Odin won't see the phone.

You need to get them from this website.
Here's a link to a post that has the drivers:

If you did get them from here, try to reinstall them.
If that doesn't work, then it's above my head.

So... never mentioned - was your phone ever recognized by your computer in the first place?
AT&T Motorola MOTO X (Basic Charcoal/Black Edition)
Current ROM: It needs a ROM?
Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 - Sprint (Don't pay for one - much better options out there.)

And if I leave the phone in download mode plugged into the computer, screen goes black, out of download mode and back into download mode every minute or so.
