40 minutes is too long. If your flash info looks like the one in the post, something elsw is wrong. Try to flash with either SEUS or PC Companion, the repair option.

I would vote for build.prop editor 1st, with the ability to add it to the bundle so that the phone is as desired after flash.

The prop editor is finished :) integrate it to the bundle is useless i think as you have to restart the phone after flash ... more a feature to be in a xrecovery rom management i think

Has anyone done a youtube video of this process of the latest flashtool version?

I have an x10a and I am with ATT.

I don't care if the ATT loaded Apps are there or not as I currently just ignore them. I have loaded a bunch of Apps from the market to my phone. I have music on an SD card in the phone and have a lot of contacts. My phone is linked to my google calendar.

All I want to do is upgrade my X10a from 1.6 to 2.1 and have everything that is currently loaded on my phone still there after the upgrade to 2.1.

I have never done anything like this before and all I can see is a bricked device in my future and my wife looking at me saying "what the !$#@ did you just do to the cell phone?!?!?"

This all in one version sounds like a lot of moving various files/folders from one place to another after downloading the tool.

It isn't as simple as connecting the x10a to the computer, clicking 1 button from the tool.......bang zoom.....spinny hourglass.....finished......unplug phone from computer, turn it on, phone is operationg on 2.1 now and all of my stuff is there is it?

I would like to install the modified firmware for the GingerBread ROM but i have some problem with flashing. My phone stay in FlashMode with green led only ten second and then it reboot...Why ?

Sorry I was not clear, I meant to be able to add the modified build.prop to the bundle as an option, that way you can build the bundle, update the build.prop, flash and have the desired result.

Of coarse i was just being lazy, just having a build.prop editor would be great

hi,
first i whould like to thanks Androxyde and Bin4ry for this great tool.
second...i`m trying to create a new ftf file and the problem is:
i`ve copy the multitouch kernel.sin to the SE folder, witch paste over SE kernel.sin with the intention of creating a "stock" SE rom with multitouch allready installed.
the problem is simple...doesn`t work
everything went as it should nut i haven`t MT
