Default SIN editor broken after 0.9.0.0

SIN editor, or to be precise "dump data" is broken in some of the version above 0.9.0.0. I just tried 0.9.3.0 and 0.9.5.0 and it doesn't work. In stead of ~300MB file I get ~1MB file.

I'm not sure if dump header is giving right file(not 100% but I think header is ok), but I'm sure dump data is not working.

No, sorry, my bad, didn't specify.

I'm trying with Neo and Neo V system.sin.

I've followed your steps and installed all those dependencies to no avail. The device is detected when it's switched on, through ADB, and it pushes a toolbox, but beyond that it's always moaning about no udev rules. I'm yet to connect my Xperia U to any Ubuntu box...

I just purchased a refurbished Xperia ARC LT15a running Android 2.3.4, Build number 402A062. I decided not to update to ICS yet.

I am trying to root with latest flashtool, however it starts running part 1 of Root Exploit and then it says "waiting for device". After a bit it "forced stop waiting" and then says "the part 1 exploit did not work".

Some times when I connect, the flashtool doesn't recognize my device, so I have to choose from the drop down menu. Other times it says daemon not running, or "protocol failure".

I am wondering if I am missing something, or if there is a hardware/communication issue with this refurbished phone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this error means the files you are trying to flash are not made for the phone you are flashing them to.

On X10, flashing a custom kernel to a phone where bootloader is not unlocked can lead to this error.
