[Q] Clockwork mod has got me beet,,,I think

I have been here and read,prob,1000's of threads and have learned so much.I have used lots of diff winmo Roms,then Android of the SD card method and now off the Nand as well.I tried WM7 for a few days but went back to Android Nand due to wifi probs.
I am struggling to get to grips with the new clockwork mod that has taken over at the moment,everybody says how easy it is to setup and to upgrade to diff Android roms but I just cant get to grips with it.There seems to be so many ways to format your card for different roms,then there seems to be diff start up txt depending on diff settings.

Is there a walkthrough for a doughnut like me,which would be the simplest rom to start with first.I have installed minitool partition wizard ready to give this a go.

Theres tons of youtube vids. Just search install clockwork mod and they will come up. Thats how I learned, hope it helps
