i like the app so far but is there a way you can just have the sounds without the music?

This would require wearing headphones to bed. Needs to be in stereo.

That being said - you can listen anytime you just need to "relax".

you could if you want to but you do not have to wear headphones it plays just fine through the phone.

so you cannot turn off the music ?
