Default 1.08 Firmware is out

1.08 Firmware is out at www.myadventvega.co.uk.

Been doing some analysis and looks like a great deal of the newer tegra drivers have been included in this release (only a few differences which I need to look into further)

So flashing this its safe to say will pretty much have the same effect as prvious pefomance packs etc..

Good news, was wondering if they also updated the drivers... Makes it worth a try I guess

Great, looking forward to my Vega turning up. Lets hope Advent keep to their word and start focusing on bringing more quality updates once the supply issues are sorted.

Hi Higgsy.

Thanks for the heads up. I took the plunge, Just flashed and installed madaco r6 free rom add-on (no performance pack). It failed on a few files, with no space on device and no such directory errors, but all the market etc appears to work fine. The keyboard responsiveness appears to be better, but there is still a need to re-calibrate the screen. The drivers have defiantly been updated. i am now getting 2389 in quadrant. Thats around 70 points or so over the previous rom with my performance pack.

I guess that depends which section you are in.

BTW the thanks was a mistake on my part, I clicked on the wrong button.
