[Q] Chase Mobile FC?

Any US Dell Streak users here use the Chase Mobile app?

For those not familiar with the Chase Mobile app, it is a mobile banking app that allows your phone to deposit cheques (amongst other things) by taking photos of the front and back of your cheques.

I have been using the Chase Mobile app to deposit cheques since I first got the phone (stock 1.6 ROM). I decided to stop waiting for Dell/AT&T to push the OTA Froyo update, and used QDLTool to put stock 2.2 ROM on my Streak. After this upgrade, the Chase Mobile app still installs, but when I try to take photos of my cheques, the app FCs.

I then tried to flash DJ_Steve's custom ROMs - and to my delight, the camera works in Chase Mobile again in v.1.5.1, and v.1.5.2, but when I upgrade to anything beyond (I've tried v1.5.3, 1.6.0, 1.6.1) the app FCs.

Any guesses as to why the camera function forces the app to FC in StreakDroid v.1.5.3+, and the stock Froyo ROM as well?

Same thing happens with my streak and the chase app after 2.2 upgrade. Used to work fine. I miss this feature!!!

+1 on this issue.

DJ Steve's 1.5.1 ROM doesn't have this issue and I believe that's running 2.2... but later rev's does have this issue.

Any solutions for newer ROMs?

It still Force Closes when taking pictures for deposit on stock 2.2.2 (baseband 347).

Deposits from the Chase mobile app has never worked for me. I am now on 351 stock (rooted) and it still FCs when trying to access the camera.
